2021 Honda Accord Debuts With Restyled Face And Lots Of New Tech

The 2021 Honda Accord has hit the US roads with improved styling and lots of new tech goodies to make the offering more attractive. Talking about exterior design upgrades, the front fascia is now less cluttered. The sedan has a wider grille, a clean installation of the radar unit, updated fog lights, and upgraded LED headlights to throw the light farther. There is new body paint, Sonic Gray Pearl, for the Sport, Sport Special Edition, and Touring variants.

The 2021 Honda Accord gets a standard eight-inch infotainment display, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The wireless CarPlay and Android Auto are available on the EX-L and Touring. The same tech for the Hybrid model is accessible in the EX and above.

Unfortunately, Honda did not give us a new powertrain choice but the older turbo engines and the hybrid system offer better throttle response thanks to the changes in the engine management software.

The new Accord Sport Special Edition is a new trim in place of the EX 1.5T. It comes with leather upholstery, heated front seats, 12-way power-adjustability for the driver’s chair, heated mirrors, and remote engine start. The powertrain consists of a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder generating 192 horsepower (143 kilowatts) and 192 pound-feet (260 Newton-meters) mating to a CVT.

Here are the pricing details for the 2021 Honda Accord in the US. In the UAE, the 2020 Accord starts at AED 94,900. The sedan should reach here soon.
