Jeep has made live the online configurator for Grand Cherokee L, and the buyers can now build the three-row crossover the way they like. But beware, with all options ticked for the top-of-the-line Summit model, the price can go as high as $70,255 (including a $1,695 destination charge).

Talking about the price of other variants, the standard rear-wheel-drive Grand Cherokee L costs $36,995, while the Summit starts from $56,995. Installing a four-wheel drive will increase the price to $58,995.

The entry-level Grand Cherokee L comes equipped with a 3.6L V6 good 290 horsepower (216 kilowatts) and 257 pound-feet (348 Newton-meters). The more powerful 5.7-liter V8 produces 357 hp (266 kW) and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm) and costs $3,295 extra. Both mills pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The range-topping model comes with Nappa leather upholstery, accessible in Global Black, a combination of Global Black and Steel Gray, or a blend of Tupelo brown and black. A 19-speaker Harman Kardon stereo will cost $1,495.

Jeep provides three option packages for Summit as well. Starting at $1995, the Advanced ProTech Group IV adds a head-up display, interior rear-facing camera, night vision with pedestrian and animal detection, and digital display rearview mirror. The other two packages include Luxury Tech Group V (for $245) and the Finishing Package by Mopar for $425.
