After revealing official teasers a few days back, the luxury automaker has introduced the Genesis G70 Shooting Brake, the wagon version of the G70 sedan. The gorgeous-looking wagon will compete against big players like the Mercedes C-Class Estate, BMW 3 Series Touring, and the Audi A4 Avant.
Interestingly, the wagon is of the same size as the sedan with 4,685 millimeters (184.4 inches) length, 1,850 mm (72.8 in) width, 1,400 mm (55.1 in) height, and 2,835 mm (111.6 in) wheelbase.
Although the size remains the same, the wagon structure has permitted the engineers to increase the cargo space by 40% compared to the G70 sedan.
The Genesis G70 Shooting Brake appears pretty much like the facelifted sedan introduced in South Korea last year in September 2020.
It definitely is a fascinating vehicle and would be an appealing replacement to the German offerings. The company didn’t reveal the technical specifications; however, we believe the wagon will have the same specs as its sedan sibling.
The pictures here show the wagon featuring a 2.0L turbo with an all-wheel-drive layout. We also expect the Shooting Brake to come in rear-wheel-drive and a bigger 3.3L V6.
