At the Frankfurt Motor Show, we got 2016 World Car of the Year nominees for overall best car and best cars in performance, luxury, design and green categories. Only the new cars available on sale in atleast 2 continents throughout the time phase between January 1, 2015 and May 31, 2016 will be qualified for the 2016 World Car of the Year awards.
At 2016 Geneva Motor Show, we will get three finalists while the winners will be announced at 2016 New York Auto Show.
