Honda Released Teaser Images of HR-V / Vezel Before Official Unveiling

The Japanese automaker Honda has shown us a couple of teasers of its updated HR-V (Vezel in some markets) before its official debut on February 18th.

The images come from Honda UK, so what we see here are European model images. The automaker is offering the crossover here only with hybrid powertrains.

Importantly, the company last week revealed that they would offer different powertrains “designed to meet the distinct needs of US customers.” Right now, we have no idea if that means non-hybrid powertrains or something else. We have to wait to get more details.

The new 2021 Honda HR-V / Vezel will be bigger than 2020 MY, considering the spy shots we have seen so far.

Does not matter what powertrain the new HR-V will adopt for the U.S., it will be a crucial member of Honda’s family in America. Honda has plans to swap this crossover with Fit, Civic Coupe and MT Accord here after the 2020 models. It is ready to turn into the “new gateway models for the Honda brand, offering significant utility, performance, and value.”

For reference, the 2020 model starts at AED 69,900 in the UAE.
