Western Motors, the only supplier of Chrysler, Fiat, Jeep, and Mopar, has formally unveiled a new and improved facility at ALFAHIM’s Airport Road Automotive Complex. The all-new 2018 Jeep Compass was also showcased on the grand launch of the 1,975 sqm facility. This huge project reiterates Western Motors’ dedication toward the automotive industry of Abu Dhabi.
Muhammad Abdullah Al Fahim, Group Head of Business Development at ALFAHIM while talking to the media about the landmark success of Western Motors said, “We started 42 years ago amidst Abu Dhabi’s downtown district where we operated under the name Al Jallaf Trading. Fast forward to 2018, Western Motors’ new and modern facility is only the first among ALFAHIM’s automotive developments and strategic growth plan in the Emirate as a whole.”
On the occasion, Western Motors also introduced the 2018 Jeep Compass, which is known to be the most resilient SUV for driving. The Compass retains a 2.4-liter I4 MultiAir engine that is assisted by a 9-speed automatic and AWD transmission.
The new Compass comes in three models; Midsized Longitude, Off-road Trailhawk, and the Limited edition. All the models feature the Jeep Active Drive and the Jeep Active Drive Low for superior off-road driving. The 2018 Compass also takes into consideration the safety of its passengers through forward collision and lane departure warning systems, as well as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross path detection. The driver assist features include completely automated parallel and perpendicular parking assist and adaptive cruise control, amidst numerous other facilities.
The upscale showroom also houses ‘special editions’ of the Jeep Wrangler and other models. The Jeep Service Center has 60 full-service bays e power packed with latest technology and expertise to enhance the consumer experience and offer unparalleled services to its clients.
