The curtain seems to be slowly lifting from the 2017 Nissan Micra. The vehicle was recently spotted performing a hot weather testing in Southern Europe. The prototype thankfully revealed many features of the new Nissan Micra to our extreme delight.
There is considerable design remodeling compared to the earlier models. The designers have abandoned the cutesy styling for a sportier and compact look. The signature ‘V motion’ grille design will grace the front giving an aggressive aura to the ride with the rear doors featuring disguised handles. The sides will also have an upswept window line. The addition of a new nice looking spoiler at the rear is another welcome innovation.
Nissan has officially announced that the new Micra will be producing at its car making plant in Flins, outside of Paris. The fifth generation city hatch will be sharing this facility with Zoe and Renault Clio. The production for the new ride is believed to commence by the end of 2016.
The new 2017 Nissan Micra will be going on display at the Paris Motor Show this October where fans can have a complete look at the revamped style. Till then, we will keep track of any development for you.
